Telephone consultations are available to patients who have not yet had an initial consultation. During the telephone consultation, the caller will not be asked for their name or address. Depending on the type of consultation, however, the caller may be asked the name and age of the patient. The caller can be an individual other than the patient. Consultations are often held with members of the patient's family or more distant relatives and friends of the patient. The telephone consultation will proceed relatively smoothly if a good understanding of the patient's condition, including answers to the following questions, is acquired beforehand.
Telephone consultations are provided in the hope that as many people as possible can receive carbon ion radiotherapy. Therefore, please refrain from seeking consultations on hypothetical matters, such as what to do if you have an illness in the future.
Although it may be difficult to provide detailed responses about medical subjects over the telephone, please do not hesitate to seek information or ask questions about carbon ion radiotherapy.
Inquiries from patients who have previously had a consultation at our hospital are handled at the outpatient reception desk.
Please call the main hospital telephone number for outpatient inquiries.
